Does Global Chat replace InterChat?

No. InterChat remains the messaging substrate and platform authority. Global Chat adds governance, policy, onboarding, and operator workflows on top.

Are all hubs private?

No. The launch model is mixed. Public feeder hubs help discovery, while private vetted hubs provide the main governed network.

Can any server join immediately?

Live public feeder hubs can now be started from the website with a generated InterChat connection command. Private hubs still require application review, screening, and probation before they become fully active network memberships.

Why is setup manual?

InterChat does not expose a public admin API for third-party hub provisioning. Global Chat can generate the exact command and route users into Discord for public hubs, but private-hub provisioning and approvals still stay human-reviewed.
